This is a GREAT product. I have long, thick, curly, red hair, and it works wonders. Sometimes I want straight hair, so I'll brush and dry my hair at the same time for the straight hair, and it works great! This hair dryer dries my hair in 10 min flat, sometimes in 5 minutes depending on the day. I also love the cord that goes into the dryer itself. So awesome and convenient!! You must buy this hair dryer, it will change your life! :)

I love the color and the retractable cord. It handles quite well. The infrared heating process doesn't dry the hair out. With this product you have three heat settings(hot-warm-cool) with a High & Low speed. It's also sturdy. Fantastic for the money.

i have always hated blowdrying my hair because it always made it frizzy and poofy in the wrong ways. Because I knew was going to purchase a new blowdryer for college I did a bit of research. I have long hair that takes FOREVER to dry (usually 30min) and I go to college in Wisconsin so I knew I couldn't walk around with damp hair like I do in California. I was seriously considering getting a professional but the research said as long as it has tourmaline (and ions or ceramic or whatever) it should work well. So i liked that it was cheap and had the retractable cord so I tried it. I LOVE this blowdryer. It dries my hair in half the time and it isn't frizzy at all! The attachments are perfect and the retractable cord is the greatest thing ever in college. I've had this now for about 6th months and i still love it. Every time I go home I regret not taking it with me because it so nice. I think next time I go home I'm going to buy one so I can have it there!

Dries hair 2xs as fast as my old one. I have thin hair but a LOT of it. It used to take 20 minutes to dry my hair but now dries 6-10 minutes--and yes, I timed it. The air doesn't feel so hot on your head and seems to use lower power than other dryers- even on the highest setting. I LOVE the retractible cord part!!

I received this product for Christmas, I told my mom it was the one I wanted, and I've always used Conair products for my hair. And the last dryer I had was getting outdated, and I have LONG LONG LONG hair, down to my butt, and I needed a new dryer, preferably one that would dry it quickly. So I picked this one out. And I am very happy with it. It dries my hair in about 8 minutes (used to take at least 15-20 with my old dryer). It doesn't get extremely hot, but it blows out a lot of air. The ONLY two things I would say could be improved, is, it does leave my hair kind of frizzy, but a little styling product, and a few swipes with the straightener, and I'm good to go. The other thing, is that because it blows out a lot of air, my hair tends to tangle while blow drying, but, if you don't have super long hair, this probably wouldn't be a problem. I've had this product for a little over a month, and I am VERY satisfied with it, and would recommend it 100%.

I noticed the difference the first time I dried my long hair with this dryer. The dryer does not get as hot as my other Ionic Dryer but it works much faster. I would say it takes half the amount of time to dry my hair with this dryer - and my hair feels terrific (full of volume and very silky). This is the best dryer I have ever owned.

I am one of those girls who does not like to blow dry my hair, it takes too long and my arm gets tired. When I purchased this product I was amazed. After a week of use my hair began to dry about 5 minutes faster and it looked a lot healthier. I started styling my hair (usually using the diffuser) and actually found a cool shot that worked on the high heat setting, which in my books is absolutely unheard of! My hair (which is INCREDIBLY thick and never holds its shape even with 12 lbs of hair spray) began to hold the style, shine perfectly, stay frizz free, and remarkably soft. I have recommended this product to all of my girl friends (even if they recently bought a new hair dryer) and they fell in love with it! This product is great for just drying your hair as well as styling for a night out on the town!

I just bought this dryer about a week ago and just used it for the first time today....I have to say that it is the best dryer I have ever used! I have extremely thick hair, and always have to use a flat iron after the blow dryer....not with this one though! my hair was soo smooth and straight and it literally took me less time then my old dryer which also used ion tech. I was soo please with the performance....very light weight and I love how the cord retracts into the dyer. The color is so awesome!! My favorite!! I love this dyer very affordable and I have already told my friends about it!! Every girl/woman should have one!!

In my opinion this is a typical hair dryer. Definitely a step up from any one-button (on/off) hair dryer but it isn't necessarily revolutionary. Never the less, I am still very pleased with the performance. It definitely is capable of drying your hair and not causing your hair to become to frizzy. The best feature is the fact that the speed and heat buttons are separate. The retractable chord is always a plus. Simply stated this is a very good hair dryer and definitely a good pick up for the price

I got this dryer to replace my older dryer and what a difference in drying time! Ceramic really does have an effect! Using the diffuser gives me nice "beachy" waves, and without, I'm able to straighten my hair much faster than before. And the disappearing cord is such a plus! I especially like the removable filter cover on the back of the dryer, which makes it really easy to clean all of the lint off which other dryers collect and can affect performance. Two thumbs up!

I haven't had a new hair dryer in a long time and this was very welcome in my home! I love all the different controls it has on it. This new drier has Hot, Warm and Cool temperature controls plus a button for High, Med and Off (speeds). Hair dryers may all come with these controls now, so it may not be a big deal for most people. But, I like them! And there is also a Cold button to help set in a curl or style.
I also like the retractable cord. I was careful when I used it, though, because I didn't want a cord whipping. But, I had no problems.

I liked the features of this dryer; the retractable cord, the removable filter cover for easy cleaning, the dual controls for heat and speed with the cool shot button for setting curls and waves. I usually air dry my fine wavy hair because a hair dryer just tends to make my hair frizzy. But with this dryer I am able to dry my hair in a few minutes, adding volume with no frizz. I like that it comes with both a diffuser and a concentrator. The 3 year warranty is a plus. Con: It is a full size dryer, heavy at 1 3/4 lbs. with the diffuser.

This hair dryer is not only incredibly convenient in terms of the cord, but it does an amazing job with my hair! My old dryer left my hair frizzy and disgusting, but this one smoothes my hair and doesn't make it frizzy at all! It also comes with the two most useful attachments (for me, at least). I regularly have to dry my daughter's hair (she's 10). Being a ham-fisted male, I have a hard time working with some of the arcane tools I've been provided (a hair iron?). I just finished using this dryer on her hair and it works great, even for me.
The device is designed very well. The retractable cord makes the dryer easy to store and retrieve. The settings are very simple to use and with only a few available, I'm not spending all kinds of time figuring out which ones to take advantage of. The high heat setting was not at all uncomfortable for me or my daughter, but with the trigger to switch on cool air, if my hands or her head got hot, we had quick relief if needed. It dried her hair very fast, but I could tell that it wasn't damaging the hair as it did it. The attachment that dries and untangles proved too big for my daughter's shorter hair, but she may grow into it. I used the funnel attachment quite a lot because it made controlling the flow & direction of the air much easier. I found the noise level to be really low compared with hair dryers I've used in the past.
We were both very happy with the experience. Best of all for my daughter, the dryer is pink, which won her over pretty quickly. It really seems like a sophisticated hair dryer and I anticipate quite a lot of use.

I have *very* curly hair and just recently had Japanese hair straightening done with the Bio Ionic ReTex system. I have heard about ionic hair dryers for a long time and have wanted to try one but wasn't sure if they would really work. My hair has never felt softer than when I used this dryer. Drying time was about half the regular time, and the dryer was so quiet! My hair was shinier than ever and feels so good!
The hot temperature felt hot if I put my hand in front of the air flow, but my head never felt that burning sensation that I have with other dryers on high temp.
The cord retracts quickly and easily but you need to be careful that it doesn't hit your hand! So far, it's a great dryer. Will update after several months of use.

I could instantly tell when I opened the box to my new Infinity by Conair it was a quality item. It feels very substantial but not heavy. The Conair has a sturdy metal chasis painted in a gorgeous raspberry pink color with brushed stainless steel accents. Better yet, the body stays cool even after a long drying session.
You are given ultimate control as well, with settings for cool, warm, hot and low, medium, and high. It is very powerful and can really blow some air if you want it to. Two or three accessories are included and attach very easily.
The ultimate test is comparing the sound level to my existing hairdryer. The Conair passed the test. The volume level is very acceptable. It was quieter than my last hairdryer, which I also subjected to a side-by-side noise test.
The highlight of the Conair is the retractable cord. Like other reviewers said, this item does not have a folding handle. The cord is straight, and pulls out to a generous length if you need it and retracts at the push of a button. A red mark on the cord tells you when you are at the end of the cord. I think this is a fantastic product

This attractive hair dryer has a cool magenta, metallic color. I love the retractable cord which makes it neat, handy and safe to store.
It is smaller in size to comparable hair dryers. The weight is perfect.
It comes with two attachments: a concentrator vent which works fine and a very large and bulky diffuser constructed of hard plastic.
I like the hot, warm and cool temperature settings and the high and low air volume settings.
I recommend this hair dryer highly.

I had been looking for a new dryer and a friend recommended this one to me. I absolutely LOVE it! My old dryer took about 25-30 minutes to dry my hair, but this one only takes 10. Plus it dries without drying OUT my hair at all, so my hair is softer and much healthier. I would definitely recommend this dryer - its worth much more than what I paid for it!!
