Great rollers for a quick set!
Thanks to Conair and Bzzagent for sending me these hot rollers for free to try out! They have turned out to be a great addition to my hair care line up. The cons: I wish they came with a heat glove to protect your fingers when rolling your hair and I would have liked a few more rollers or bigger rollers for my longer hair. The pros: they heat up really fast, it was easy to secure them in place, they were comfortable to have in my hair and they gave me a good curl. I'll be using them often!

It took me 5 minutes
I finally had a chance to try these rollers before work today. I gave myself an extra half hour to get ready. I thought I'd time myself just to see how much extra time I really needed to pull off curling my hair before work every morning. I used all of the larger rollers and has them all in place in under five minutes. Of course that doesn't take into account the warming time, but I used that time to floss and brush my teeth. I was pleased with the shape of the curl, although it was a little tight for my liking. I did let it fall quite a bit before spraying and the look lasted a couple of hours. I wished it would've held up longer, but I think next time I'll spray earlier, possibly use some other products. The rods are comfortable and extremely easy to use. I love how they are self-clasping.

Probably better results on shorter hair
I have tried these rolling sticks 3 times and I'm still trying to get the hang of them. The process of rolling up the hair isn't as easy as I assumed. I have really long thick hair with lots of layers so that makes it even more difficult. And my hair is stick straight so getting and keeping a curl or shape is tough in general. These rolling sticks are good in theory (could just not be suited for my hair type/style) but produce a sort of wonky curl or maybe 3/4's a curl.

Easy to use, curl is aggressive!!!
I really like how user friendly it is, however I felt the directions could have been way clearer or including a diagram. The curlers only need to be on for a short amount of time or your hair will be Shirley Temple curly. It worked really for my six year old and her pigtails....no fear of burning her or me, and she didn't have to sit still until I pulled them off. Great product but I will need a few more attempts to become better at using them.

I would not buy this again
my experience with the Conair Hot Sticks Rollers did not live up to my expectations. The curls produced were lackluster, lacked longevity, and failed to hold well even with the use of additional styling products. The awkward design and difficulty in achieving uniform curls further added to my disappointment. If you're looking for a reliable tool to create long-lasting, defined curls, I would suggest exploring other options in the market.

Good product!
First off I love the packaging and colors! Reminds me of my childhood. They are very easy to use and I would think anyone could easily achieve great results even if they weren't familiar with hot sticks. The only downside is I have thick hair and would need 2 sets to do my whole head. If you are looking for a classic way to get tight curls that stay all day these are the way to go!

These are as awesome as I remember!!
I was so excited to try these curlers as a review! As a 80s baby, I had these kind growing up and they were my favorite! My kids love getting their hair curled and these do the best job of getting it curly and it staying curly. They heat up quickly and no trying to find pins, because let's face it, we all loose those! And they are great for smaller kids because they don't pinch and pull their hairlike traditional curlers!

Pleasantly surprised, and super cute in my bathroom!
I've got fairly long hair- down to the middle of my back, and when I first looked at this Inwas sure there wouldn't be enough rollers. Somehow, it was just the right number! They created more "waves" than curls for me, but it was super easy compared to other types of rollers, and they didn't cause frizz or dullness. Bonus points for the cute retro look- this is one hair tool I won't be hiding under the cabinet!

Quick and easy to use
The Hot Stick Rollers were very easy to use. They heated up quickly and were not too hot to touch when rolling them into my hair. I only have four stars because when unrolling them my hair really stuck at times and pulled out which hurt. I combined using both the thin and the thicker rollers throughout my hair for a more variety curl look. Overall, pleased with how they worked and how easy it was to use them.

It works as described
I was excited to receive these hot curlers in exchange for a review. They heat up really fast and do what they say their supposed to do. I'm not sure if my hair is too thick or if there is just a learning curve when using these. But I don't think they work well with my hair. I wouldn't buy these unless the come with thicker rollers. They do work well on my daughters' hair which is finer tho.

Could use some improvements to make it perfect!
I really enjoyed getting to try this curling product. I am a low-key gal when it comes to my hair. I would rather braid my hair than dry or curl it! I absolutely LOVED the simplicity of this curling roller set. I plugged it in, gave it several minutes to heat until the light turned white, then I rolled my hair! I think I would have preferred either more rollers overall, or maybe all the bigger rollers. I started at the bottom of my hair and worked my way up, and towards the top I had too much hair so the bottom of the top strand had some curl but the root had none. I also had a variety of curl sizes because of having to take different sized sections so some were tight and some were wavy, I would prefer all one or the other! Having more rollers in general would fix this though. Overall, I really liked this product and will absolutely use it again! I just would love if there were more rollers. 😊

Excellent!
I have been using this type of curlers for years and they are wonderful! I can only get them from Conair. They give your hair a nice tight curl.. These are not for a soft wave look! Perfect for updos!

I think this roller set is adorable. The sticks don't pull your hair. The holder is also adorable. The reasons I don't like it are, it doesn't have an off switch, and the sticks burn your hands while rolling it up. This would be great for dress ups as a kid except don't plug it in. To me that's a safety issue that needs to be taken into consideration if they make anything else.

I like the small, compact design of the rollers and case. I felt they heated up quickly and weren't too hot to touch. I'm not a fan of tight curls so I wish these came in a larger roller size. The curls looked scraggly at the end of my hair because it's hard to get the ends to stay on the roller. All in all, I wouldn't purchase these but would use a regular curling iron.

Perfect curls in a easy way!
I was so excited to get Hot Sticks Rollers and used them that same night! They heat up pretty quick which is a good thing. I wore them to bed and they were really easy to sleep with. In the morning I had fabulous curls. I also used them a few days later and couldn't believe the amazing job they did after only having them on for 15 minutes!

Curls that last
Tried the Conair hot sticks on my daughter, she has so much thick hair and these worked great. She normally has a hard time making curls last but these hot sticks did the trick! I do wish it came with more in the container but we did half her hair and then did the other side after. I have thinner hair so I had enough to do all my hair in one sitting.

Amazing hair styling tools
I love to try different curls on my hair, however I am not the best at it. Conair hot stick rollers gave me a chance to try out. Love the outcome, and they are super easy to use. Washed and dried my hair, then rolled up small strips of hair in each curl, letting it dry for 2 hours or so, then I got nice curls for all day. Would recommend it.

So cool and retro
I love these hot sticks curlers! First of all the packaging is everything, I love the colors and the retro style. When using this it feels like going back in time a little, it's a fun way to do your hair. The sticks works really nice! My curls were perfect and bouncy and lasted pretty long! I'll be using this tool a lot more than expected.

Hot Sticks Rollers Are Easy to Use
Hot Sticks Rollers are very easy to use. They heat up in a few minutes and are relatively comfortable in your hair. Leave them in for a few minutes and enjoy curls after. As easy as that!
It's important to note that the rollers are thing so the curls are pretty tight. That's okay but if you want big curls, these are not for you.

Took me back to my childhood
My mom used to use these on me when I was little. Seeing this package, then trying them out took me right back! The results are good, but it does take some trial and error to not be pulling your hair out with each rod when removing them. I tried to use bigger sections to not get such a tight ringlet.

Just didn't work for me :(
I tried using the roller a a couple times and I think I just have too much hair , I need at least double the rollers .
Also , the rollers didn't leave a defined curl In my hair . It pretty much just left a dent in it .
I think it may be ok for people with shorter hair maybe .
It is no for me :(

They work with patience
I received these to free to test… There isn't enough of this new version to curl my whole head at once. I have to do 2 batches. The material that they are made out of makes my hair stick more. It's definitely not as easy to unroll. But it works, with some patience.

I received the Hot Sticks Hair Setter from Conair through Bzzagent. It's amazing hot sticks. It's easy to use and creates the curls very quickly. I feel very comfortable while wearing it. When I remove the sticks from my hair it doesn't hurt me like other types.

Nice product
It does the job, not sure how it'd work for long hair but for short hair it's great. It gave excellent volume. I loved that the product itself it's slim and easy to use. I did feel them a lil hot when appplying so a heat protectant glove would be nice to use

Works well, but need more than one if you have a lot of hair
These were super easy to use. They stayed in my hair easily! They heated up fast and gave me a lasting curl. The only draw back was that due to the fact that I have pretty dense hair it would have taken at least 2 sets to do my entire head.

Need some practice
This product reminds me of something I would buy in the 90s. Similar style, color, and product. I feel like this could be a great product- easy on the hair, because of the rubber and not metal. I just need some practice on perfecting it

Heats up fast
I tried them today and was impressed with how fast it curls my hair. For me it was a bit too curly 😅 but I still like the results. Of course the humidity down in Florida does not help!

Not Bad Overall
These were pretty easy to use. I just followed the instructions that came with the box. They did effectively curl my hair, but not as much as I would have liked. My hair came out more wavy than actually curly.

Gorgeous results!
I started using these in the 80's. I get SO many compliments from men. The curls stay and my hair looks like a spiral perm. I've purchased them for friends, as gifts, but they aren't being sold, anymore.
