Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Design This flatiron is terrible, it’s very poorly designed. There is no way to use it without pressing the temperature controls or power control so it often shuts off or the temperature goes down during use as the controls are on the front and it’s also a very pressure sensitive toggle bar rather than buttons. No matter how one holds it, the bar will get pressed and the iron shuts off. Im very disappointed in Conair, which had always been my preferred brand, but this flatiron is useless. Unfortunately it cannot be returned to the store because it had been used and isn’t broken.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Design I bought this product from Walmart and it was one of the more expensive ones, so I thought it would be great. Wrong! First of all it pulls your hair out. So I’m guessing there is something wrong with the plates. Second, it has a terrible design. It’s digital and the buttons are where you hold it. So as you are straightening your hair, you are pressing on the buttons that turn the heat up/ down and off. I tried holding it a different way so I didn’t touch the buttons, but that was awkward. You have to squeeze it shut & when you do, you press on the buttons. Who passed this in inspection? I’m returning it back to the store.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Button Placement terrible I have had good results with this brand in the past but the on/off/temp control placement feels like it was designed by someone who never uses a hair straightener. I am constantly turning off the unit or changing the temperature by accident because the buttons are right where your hand holds it. So frustrating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pros/cons used in very thick hair Pros: Pretty and light weight design Did help with frizz and static Affordable $$ Good heat settings Cons: Button placement VERY annoying. I accidentally turned off the iron, and that’s not ok. If you’re going to blow dry your hair prior to use I think it works well. If you’re just to straighten next day semi curled hair, I think it may struggle. You get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Infinity Pro flat iron CS600 You definitely know that a hairdresser did not make this I am a hairdresser and it's so frustrating to use this particular flat iron it has all the buttons and the on/off switch where you put your fingers to hold on to it you can't put your fingers any place else because you'll get burnt so you constantly changing the gears or turning it off, not sure why Conair would even think about selling this. This was a waste of my money I did a donation to conair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hoping to find an answer I was hoping someone had figured out how to use this without turning it off. But as with the other reviews I see, it seems useless since you can’t hold it without turning it off. Back to the store for return tomorrow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Reposition the Buttons It took too long to do my hair, because I soon as I pick-up the iron, I accidentally turn it off or change the temperature. It's impossible not to since the buttons are on top where you grip. Please discontinue this model. I took it back to Walmart for a refund & purchased another Conair model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Elegant and Lightweight Excellent results; however, I do not care for the on/off and temperature selection indicators. Have to have my reading glasses on to set iron temperature and power on/off. I'll watch for this on my next purchase of a flat iron.
