Not what I expected
First off, the image of a "2-in1 Compact Styler" is not what I received, it was a smaller oval shaped Boar Hair Brush for men's hair. To be completely honest, I was not impressed with it. It is just a basic brush with kind of stiffer bristles. I could see it being good for a beard or body hair (which I don't have much of). It did work pretty well on my shorter side hair, but did little to nothing for the hair on the top of my head which is medium short length. I did however find a great use for it with my nephews hair, it is GREAT for young kids hair as a brush and would recommend it for anyone with little kids for a handy little brush.

Compact men’s comb
I’ll start this off by saying my hair is on the thicker side. Upon initial pickup of the comb, I was a little worried that the prongs might snap, but luckily it’s held up for over a week, and I’m not worried about them breaking. I really like how compact it is, meaning I can just slip it straight in my pocket. My main test run was taking it with me to a chlorinated pool. Both sides, the comb and bristled part went through my very stiff hair like nothing. I’ll definitely be using this product in the future, I honestly have no complaints. It cuts through tangles, and does exactly what you want a good comb to do.

Convenient and functional combo brush!
This product has quickly become one of my favorites. At first use, i thought i would not need a combo brush like this, but i was wrong. The comb side of this brush is very good! The brush side of this product is good as well, just not used as much because the bristles are a little rough. That is a very minor gripe that i have with this product though. Just the convenience of this product alone is a huge benefit and outweighs the fact that the bristles are a little rough. I have taken this combo styler with me to work a lot and it has been a big help in keeping my hair nice and tidy! Four out of five stars.

Nice foldable comb.
The pro's are that the comb/brush folds down and is easily put in your pocket to be used during the day. The comb side is great.
The cons are that the brush side has very hard bristles. Even with longer hair the bristles hurt. So I will not use the brush side of the set any longer. I let my wife use it and she too mentioned how hard the brush side was.
If the bristles were softer I think it would be a home run, The comb works great for detangling my beard and straitening my hair during the day, I use it multiple times a day.
For the price I would recommend it to people looking for a pocket comb.

Wrong Item but it's still nice
So I'm assuming that I was supposed to receive the item pictured...I did not, I received this brush with "boar" bristles. The brush that I did receive was pretty nice, the handle felt nice to hold and after using the brush it started to feel more comfortable. The brush itself does a decent job with my hair. I want to mention that I am a white male and the only reason I mention this is because I am aware that different races have different types of hair. But this brush does a decent job. At first, it kind of hurt my head to use since it's a bristle type of brush but I've gotten used to it. I personally, feel like the type of brush i received is better suited for short fade-like hairstyles.

Small yet convenient and practical
This 3 in 1 ConairMan compact styler can be a wonderful and useful tool to the right person. I, however, was not that person as my hair is kept military style short. I did try it several times but my hair just isn't long enough to make it practical to have at this point. But I do love how small and compact it is and that it folds in half to take up even less space. And it's also a huge plus that it offers both a brush and comb option as an all in one travel item or for taking wherever, whenever. It can fit easily into a front or back jeans pocket as well as a travel bag or small compartment. If I had just slightly longer hair, I would definitely purchase this product AND use it regularly!

Not For My Hair Type
I had moderate hopes for this product. I like that it is compact and easy to store in my pocket or bag. It does a good job combing and brushing my mustache and soul patch. My head of hair is another thing. I don't think this was made with black peoples' hair types in mind. Not that they intentionally designed it wrong, it's just not for me. My hair is short and wavy and I think this brush is made for straighter hair. It simply does nothing to my hair. If you have straight hair, I recommend it. For coily hair and wavy, the comb will work ok, but the brush is too thin to be effective.

Great option for travel!
I received Conair 2 in 1 Compact Styler for free from @hometesterclubus for testing purposes in exchange of my honest review. This is a folding pocket travel size hair comb & brush on the go. Ideal for touch ups for men or women. It folds down so I can keep it in my car. Perfect size to keep in my purse. Small enough for my pocket. Works great on my hair which is long. The comb detangles hair with ease and the brush distributes hair's oils for added shine. It's made of plastic and tufted nylon bristles. Overall, I think it's a great option for travel.
