Okay for loose curls if you don't need them to hol
Easy to use, and heats up fast. I was a bit disappointed that my curls fell within an hour of finishing and just looked like very loose waves. I used a bunch of hairspray and usually my hair holds a curl fine. So, if you're looking for a product that creates waves this is for you! Would not recommend to use as a traditional curling iron though. Good product overall, just depends on the look you're trying to achieve.

Great Curls!
The thickness of this curler is perfect to create awesome loose curls in my medium length hair. This curler is comparable to my regular high end brand curler that I use. The clip on it really comes in handy so that I do not have to hold the hair with my hand while curling. The price for this product is also amazing and therefore I would definitely recommend this curler to my family and friends!

Beautiful thick curls
The curling iron heats up fast, doesnt pull or damage any of my hair when I use it. The curls come out absolutely stunning and thick, and hold really well and i have really thick hair as well. Ive gotten so many compliments using this curling iron compared to my last which left my hair looking dry and dead while this one doesnt damage my hair nearly as much. Definitely would recommend.

Great curling iron
This was a super easy to use and effective curling iron. It was a great size for my long hair that hits close to my mid back as well. Some irons have caused me not to curl my hair like I intended since the wand can be slimmer but this was a great option for my long hair! I love the different heat settings as well so plenty of options when it comes to temperature.

Hello! I got this product free from BzzAgent to try for you all! For context I have thick curly hair. For a cheap curling iron I think it did really well! The barrel size is good for lose curls and warms up very quickly! I love how it has a temperature control so it can work on many hair types as well. The handle is comfortable as well! Definitely worth trying out!

Love this curling iron!
I just received this curling iron yesterday and used it this morning for the first time. I love it! My hair is naturally straight so I need irons that get very hot to style with (everything i used before did not do their job). This iron did not disappoint! I used the turbo heat setting and it was just perfect for me!

Excellent for the price point
I have only ever used $100 plus dollar curling irons that have all sort of cool features, so I was hesitant to try a manual curler. To my surprise, after some practice I was able to get really nice and natural looking curls. The only thing I would recommend is the turn the heat setting higher than you think you need to, as the curls I did fell pretty quickly.

Control buttons poorly located
The curling iron works great and gives me the tighter curl I want. My issue is the on/off button is in a bad spot. I curl from the roots down and as I move down, I accidentally hit those 2 buttons and turn it off. So I have to watch with each rotation and keep turning it back on. It's just frustrating. That's why I gave it a 3 rating.

I have extremely long and thick hair and heat/tools have to reach a certain heat in order for my curls to hold and stay. This curling iron is easy to use and heats up well! It has a turbo heat button and a dial of degree you want. It also heat up quickly for if you're in a hurry. Overall I love this curling iron! More than any wand!

Gave the perfect curls!
The size of the barrel gave the perfect size, body curls. Gets hot quickly, has auto shut off. I would definitely buy this product. The only that I would improve it the location of the power button. I accidentally pressed it a few times when styling. So, if it could be placed in another location that would make it over the top.

Amazing big curls!!
I've used curlers before and this is by far the best! It's such good quality, pretty color, and has options to increase/decrease the heat and turbo which will curl even faster. The curls are nice and big and last. It's very easy to use! Especially bc of the spoon unlike the wand I had before from a different brand.

Not ideal for flat hair
I was really excited to test out this curling iron. I have long hair that is naturally flat. After curling my whole head I gave my hair a good spray of hairspray and started my day. My hair was flat in less then 2 hours. I think this curling iron would be great for people who's hair naturally holds a little curl.

Engineering suggestion I’d like a new design.
This curling iron tends to turn off while using. You would thing the engineers would look for problems this simple to remedy. The on switch is right where you grip the curling iron when trying to curl your hair. Accidentally you push it and the iron begins to cool you aren’t aware. I guess I expect more.

Perfect for loose curls!
I love the end result when I use this product. I love the look of loose curls and they hold all day! The barrel heats up quickly and gets hot enough so curls last. I personally have coarse, thick hair so finding a curling iron thar works for me has been a process but this one is great!

I received this curling iron for free to test and I am so impressed! The curling iron is user friendly, I love the creative placement of the temp. Settings. The turbo setting really allowed the curls to set in my difficult to curl hair. This is the best curling iron I've ever used.

Works Great! Even on Super Thick Hair!
Hi, I was excited but a little nervous to try this product out because I've got super thick curly hair and haven't had much luck in the past with any kind of heating tools. I was beyond surprised and happy with the Conair Double Ceramic 1 1/4 Curling Iron though. It has numerous different heat settings based on the thickness and texture of your hair. It heats up really quickly. I already have curly hair but they are tighter, more ringlet type curls and I really wanted to use this to get bigger, looser curls and it worked! I had towel dried my hair, and let it sit dry to about 50% and then I just took sections and loosely wrapped them around the curling iron for a few seconds and then released. After I had finished my whole head I lightly brushed through it to get a more tousled style and sprayed with a little hairspray. Everyone asked me where I had my hair done, I told them I had done it myself! I have already bought one to give as a gift this Christmas! Thanks Conair and BzzAgent for letting me test this out..

So quick and easy
I love this curling iron! It only takes a few seconds to heat up, especially when you use the Turbo button. Just a few seconds of heat and the curls are ready! You can achieve a beach wave look or super defined spiral curls. The light weight tool makes it a breeze.

Don't love it
The good news - it heats up very quickly. The bad news: the curls didn't hold and I don't like where the buttons/controls are at all. I hit them constantly while I was styling my hair. Or maybe it's less about the location and more about type of controls.

Difficult to operate!
The design of this curling iron makes it impossible to use. Having the controls on the handle makes operating very awkward. The controls are where my hand holds the device and l continually and inadvertently turn it off. Very poor design.

Hair reverted back in three hours
I curled my hair without flatironing and it did okay until it reverted back to its natural state. I recommend flatironing your hair first to get your desired look. It heated up pretty fast, so no complaints there

Love my Double Ceramic 1 ¼-Inch Curling Iron from Conair and BzzAgent. It has different heat settings and a turbo. Worked pretty good on my hard-to-curl hair. It has 30 heat settings for different hair types which is awesome. It has the turbo for a boost for different spots you might need more heat to curl, and it give a 27 degree heat boost. It heats up really fast and cools down pretty fast. It's design allows for safe sitting without burning your counters. The handle and grip is good and the tip is designed so you won't burn yourself if you grab the end to adjust or hold while curling. I really like the look and design and how well it works. I also really like that the buttons are sunk in so you do not accidentally press them while curling your hair. It all in all, is a great styling tool and I do love the Conair brand. It is good sized for styling too. My hair looks and feels great and didn't get all frizzy or burn or anything. The heat is evenly distributed among the wand. Very easy to use and convenient because it works fast. Definitely recommend trying.

Perfect curls
Nice thick curls. Didn't take long for the cutting iron to heat up. It has a turbo mode which makes it get hotter even faster. I love the fact that it had the clamp to keep the hair in place while curling it
