Perfect for travel and home.
I chose this dryer primarily to use when traveling, but recently I've used it in lieu of my large hairdryer here at home. The other reason I bought this specific hairdryer is because it can accommodate a diffuser attachment that I purchased separately. I mostly use the "warm" setting on low speed for my combo wavy/curly hair. Ionic technology helps keep my hair soft and tames frizz or flyaways. The cord is rather long but its excess length can be cord-wrapped. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and I'd buy another one if I needed it.

Good quality at a perfect size!
I have short, fine hair, and this dryer is the perfect size. You usually get a poor quality dryer when you buy a small one, but this one is of good quality and doesn't burn me on the hot setting. You also usually don't get many heat/blowing options on a smaller dryer, but this one has all the options of a full-size dryer. I really like it. My only disappointment is that it doesn't come with its own diffuser. Any "universal" diffuser I find is still too big. It will fit the dryer, but the diffuser itself is just too big for my "small hair."

Very effective for a small dryer
I am very happy with the lightweight version of this hair dryer and am especially glad that it comes with a concentrator and that my universal diffuser fits the cone opening well. The only thing that I wish is that it was 1875 watts like previous versions of this dryer instead of 1600 watts. Takes longer to dry my curls but I do think the ionic feature does leave my hair soft and shiny. This will be great for travel also. I just hope it lasts as long as my last Conair 1875 compact dryer. It still works after 10 years!!!!!

Excellent product!
The other day my hair dryer quit. I had a backup but it was smoking and shooting sparks. (Both were pretty old.) I dumped them both and found this hair dryer in a sales ad and sent my husband out to pick one up. So glad I did! I did not realize a hair dryer could make such a difference. When I use this one, I don't end up with wisps of hair sticking straight out in the back. I don't really need to use product or style my hair. The dryer seems to do the trick. It's great!

Bought this a couple of months ago. It packs a lot of power for a little dryer. I have nerve damage in my hands and needed something that was easy to handle and this dryer fits the bill. It's not heavy and the different drying levels helps me style my hair with my fingers while holding the dryer in the other hand. It was just what I was looking for and the quality is what I've come to expect of Conair products. Very pleased.

Great compact dryer!
Bought this recently as I have shoulder issues and was looking for something lightweight but efficient. This fits the bill. It is a powerful little dryer with 2 heat settings and 2 speeds. It also has a “cool” setting and a cold shot button which I love. I only took away one star because it is a little weighty than I would have preferred. Still keeping it though!

Compact and powerful.
I bought this a couple weeks ago and am happy with my purchase. Small enough to tuck into my toiletry bag--dimensions: 12½"H x 11½"W x 4"D with all my other stuff. As powerful as my bigger hair dryer and I like the separate temp and heat settings--I can dry my hair on low cool for less heat damage. Easy to hold on to and operate.

Great value! Right size and Power!!!
I've had this dryer for a few months and really love it. The dryer us lightweight and very powerful...just right for those who don't like the bulk and weight of larger dryers. It is simple and easy to use and the cool shot kicks in with quick press with the index finger. Priced right too...under $20!!! Luv it.
