Good Basic Trimmer
I bought this to cut hair with my friend. We cut each others hair and it save a lot of money. I like that you can start our with higher number comb and move to the next lower comb if it is not short enough. I have clipped my own hair the last few months. It is pretty simple. There are many videos online that show how to cut your own hair. My barber cost me around $30 with tip each time. I use to get my hair cut four to six times a year. I am saving $120 to $180 a year now and I don't have to make an appointment or take time to drive and park. That saves another hour each time. I do my own hair. I am not a perfectionist. I am happy with the results and the trimmer.

I bought this item to just do some light trimming. Upon receipt I read all the instructions and prepared the trimmer in accordance with those instructions. The trimmer ran very well--then I packed it away for several weeks. Upon starting the trimmer again it ran for about 1 second. Haven't been able to start it again. I followed all the instructions for potential solution but to no avail. According to Conair's instructions I am to mail it back to them for repair/replacement and to include $5. I am thinking that buying another brand would be better.

Blades became extremely dull in super short time!!
We bought these clippers about six months ago & have used them 3 or 4 times. After each use they were cleaned, oiled & put up in the case. I don't have a picture as I am not at home. I am very hesitant to but any Conair Hair clippers again.

Works a bit.
Bought this as a cheap stop-gap for my Wahl that is hiding in storage. This grabs beard hair unless you oil it a lot. Need a screwdriver for simple upkeep. Cheap, as expected.

You get what you pay for
Blades jam with hair very easily. Very difficult to clean. Blades get dull quickly even when cared for as recommended. No support to purchase replacement guards if lost or broken.
