Wasn't right for me.
First off this is a well made flat iron that heats up really quickly, the cord is plenty long and it's lightweight. However I have curly hair and it didn't give me the smooth I frizzy look that I'd want if I'm flat ironing my hair, I also had to do multiple passes especially when my hair was wet and I felt like it could be damaging passing it through my hair multiple times. I think this would be a better fit with wavy or straight hair and it definitely worked better on dry hair. It's a low cost option that would work well for many people, just not for me.

Not sold on the wet to dry
I have tried this a few times . The wet to dry I tried when my hair was barely damp and it still couldn't get it to be dry. The dry setting seems to work a lot better but the gap left between the plates allow my hair to keep falling out . I would say this is a decent iron compared to others in the same price point. My chi is still number one.

Older Model was Better
I have been using Conair's Wet/Dry flat iron for over 15 years to dry my hair. I am pretty hard on it and need to buy a new one every few years....usually because rough cord use broke a wire. I LOVED this flat iron model until I recently needed a new one and learned the design has changed a bit. I am not fond of the latest version of this flat iron. It takes much longer to dry my hair. And it leaves my hair frizzier than the older version did. This design change was not an improvement. It was a step backwards.

Not Bad...Not Great
I had high hopes for this straightener - and was also leary. I could see this as a good mid-day 'touch-up' straightener - but to use this on my long, course, think hair first thing in the morning and expect it to do its job is a little too much....let alone dry and straighten at the same time.
I've already used this 4 times: the first 3 on dry clean hair, the 4th on semi-air-dried hair. I just didn't feel like it had enough power/heat (on wet or dry hair) to really get my hair straight.
I do really like the shape of this straightener - it's curved just a bit to fit better in your hand, against your head, and to hold your hair - but the analog controls make it feel cheap.
The idea and concept is a good one....the execution just didn't quite pull off all the promises.

Easy to use, Efficient with luxurious results
I have been looking for a flat iron that can be used on damp/wet hair that would not fry my hair. Folks, I suggest you give this a try. Hair is sleek and feels luxurious and silky. I have long natural curly hair and this is an absolute must. Do remember that it is not magic so be sure to use a heat protectant spray or cream in your hair and towel dry your hair before using. Selfies are hard to do to capture the full effect but after straightening and a quick trim, it was perfect.

I am no stranger to the Conair brand and they have managed to still stick around after all these years . This brand is easily accessible in neighboring drugstores and top retailers as well. Here I present to you their latest launch; The Wet to Dry Double Ceramic Flat Iron . This is a versatile hair tool that can be used on either wet or dry hair. It has six settings , heats up in 30 seconds , simple to use and has an automatic shut off. I have never owned a product like this . Now onto the testing . I plugged it in and sectioned a piece of my hair . I choose heating setting number 3 which is quite visible in the settings window . It did heat up quite quickly. . I ran it down my hair and wanted the end to curl . I was amazed that hair held the curl . But, here the snag . When I went to comb the hair that I curled it felt brittle on the ends of the hair . That was disappointing, since it was on a low setting. As I combed my hair back , my hair still maintained the curl and didn't go flat . I don't think I could recommend this product because I would assume the other heat settings would be probably too high and cause damage to the hair . I did like that the iron had a swivel base to it .

Efficient
The conair flat iron is very convenient and easy to use once you get the hang of it in the beginning. Doesn't take too long to heat up and has a couple options on heat range depending on your hair type. I also especially like the auto off feature so it makes it safe. It is very compact and easy to bring with when traveling as well. Overall I would recommend it does the job very well to get that straight hair and not extremely expensive to purchase.

My quick after-shower hair fix
Whether I need to calm my hair down after being in a ponytail or right after the shower, this has been such a quick fix. It does great on wet hair. It isn't 100% drying my hair unless I give it optimal time, but it speeds the process and I am left with much less frizz and fly aways when my hair completely dries when I use this over my wet hair. I was sent this as a sample for review and I am buying more as gifts!

Conair Double Ceramic Wet to Dry Flat Iron
I've been needing a new flat iron and was so happy to receive this one by Conair in exchange for an honest review! I absolutely love the pretty rose gold color! I used this on wet mode shortly after my shower when my hair was fairly damp. It dried my hair very nice and thoroughly and doesn't smoke like other straighteners do. It's very easy to use and much more effective than my old flat iron!

Wet to dry flat iron
First, this came in a very quick time period which is nice! I love the coloring of the flat iron even though I'm not too picky about that. I love the 1 1/2 inch size one, it's nice if you want to pack for traveling. The outlay design is very simple which is convenient. It did a terrific job straightening my hair! This is the best flat iron I think I've ever opened! So happy with this!

Sleek and works
Super nice straighter; can use when wet or dry! I highly suggest not using when your hair is soaked! Dry it a little bit so you don't damage your hair. I tried this straighter with a wet & dry head and it worked great both times. I have pretty wavy/curly hair so if it can straighten my hair and keep it straight then it's doing right by me. I really love it, I can't wait to use it again!

Wet to dry and no frizz in a flash!
I have very fine hair and this has become my one source of heat. It does an an amazing job at drying and straightening (and even curling) that I have been able to put my dryer & curler away and only use this. It's very quick to heat up and has auto off- which I really need sometimes. It's small and lightweight and easy to use.

I love this straightener !
I was a little skeptical upon testing this product because many of the wet to dry flat irons I've tried before have made my hair sizzle when using it. This one didn't do any of that and the results were super soft hair in under a minute. Highly recommend for those who hate to blow dry and flat iron or are short on time.

Okay for the price
Not bad for the price point but not comparable to my Chi. As far as the wet to dry part, I have thick hair and it didn't really dry it. It did an okay straightening but my hair kept getting caught in the plates. That's no good. It did an okay job as far as cutting down some frizz and leaving my hair straight and sleek.

Affordable 2 in 1 Wet to Dry
Conair usually offers affordable products to consumers, same as this Ceramic Wet to Dry flat iron . It heats up quick and has 6 temperature to choose from ,also Available to both wet and dry hair . I also like the wide flat iron as it hold my hair well for straightening. Price also affordable which is worth for a try .

Conair Double Ceramic Wet to Dry Flat Iron 1 1/2
With long curly native hair, I have had issues with finding irons that would work on my hair. From a young age, I learned that I had to use biracial hair products and all gold-plated items. This is the only iron besides a Chi in recent years that actually worked on my hair. Impressed is an understatement.

Good but not great.
I received this Conair Double Ceramic Wet to Dry Flat Iron complimentary to try and I was initially excited. I have naturally curly hair and I was very excited to try this wet. I put it on the lowest setting and it worked a few passes and my hair was dry. The problem was it felt very coarse not soft and smooth like other flat Irons. I also noticed a lot of my hair was being pulled out by how the plates sit in the iron. When i finished my hair wet it looked very coarse and fluffy is the only way to describe it. I loved that it had a curly hair setting dry so i tried that. I will say that it pulled less of my hair out but still pulled some out. It left it very shiny but still looking fried. the other issue I have is it claims to have multiple settings but on every setting i used it seemed to be the same heat. I also had an issue with the plug loved that it swivels but it doesn't lay flat very well on surfaces, and it came flying out of the wall while using it because it fell off my sink.

Good things never die
I don't own this exact model, however I own the purple one that was sold literally in like 2011-2012 or around there. I admittedly do not use it on the wet function because I do believe I'd be cooking my hair in doing so, but for what it's worth, I still use this flat iron on the dry setting to this day over 10 years later. This $30 or so flat iron has lasted longer than most of the strongest friendships I've had. I can't get myself to retire and replace her because I'm holding onto the nostalgia of my early teen years. So in all, I can't really attest to the success or not of the wet function because I haven't ever really used it for that, but if this model is built as durably as mine is, I'd say this is the best $30 you'll ever spend. It's seen better days in terms of scratches and whatnot, but I literally got this thing in 7-8th grade and I'm 26 now and still using it. I lack consistency and dependability in many areas of life but I never have to doubt if this iron will power up and get the job done when I need it to.

Claims to dry wet hair as it straightens, which it totally does! Impressive! Has a number of different setting for wet or dry hair and varies based on hair type as well. Great feature! My only issue is that it didn't leave hair as smooth as I would prefer.

Good straightner
I used this with my hair slightly damp. It didn't really dry my hair, so as far as the wet to dry aspect, it's not the greatest. As far as a straightner goes, it's great. I like the shape of it and it's not heavy which is great.

Overall it's a good flat iron, there is just nothing that makes it stand out from other brands that I have used in the past. It heats up quickly and using small sections I was able to straighten my 3b-c hair in one oass
